The Nagaland’s Next Top Player Season-2 selection trial was held at Chümoukedima Football Stadium from 12th to 14th May, 2025. Organized by the Department of Youth Resources and Sports, Government of Nagaland in collaboration with the Nagaland Football Association, Progressive Sports Consultants and SC Nagaland/Thonburi United Thailand, the event aimed to select talented players from Nagaland to join Thonburi United, a club competing in Thai League 3. This program follows Mr. Meceivi Khieya, the first-season champion of Nagaland’s Next Top Player, who signed an eight-month professional deal with Thonburi United in Bangkok. After a rigorous selection process, four players were selected for a one-month trial at Thonburi United Football Club in Thailand. The two selected players are Laiwang Bohham and Kevisanyu Peseyie, while Bepeto Assumi and Enyiebe Thopi secured wild card entries.
